ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

If caries was left untreated long enough or inside of the tooth becomes exposed by trauma, the bacteria may cause infection of the pulp (blood and nerve supply inside the tooth). Root canal treatment is necessary. In this treatment, the root canal and pulp chamber will be cleaned and medicated making sure that the canal is sterile. Then it will be filled with special material. After that, permanent restoration can be placed.
